Logistics teams that put AI to work know about the delay before the customer does Damco puts AI agents to work beside your documentation, customer service, and billing teams, on the TMS or AS/400 you already run.
Some of the companies that run on software we built
An ocean carrier learned about delays at sea too late One problem, what we built, and what changed
- The problem
An ocean carrier serving North and Latin America ran port handling, fleet tracking, and cargo booking on separate systems. Delays at sea reached the land side late, and every customer asking about cargo needed someone in the back office.
- What we built
We moved the core onto one cloud platform and fed vessel sensor data into a model that estimates arrival times and flags risks early. Customers got a portal for bookings, tracking, invoices, and documents.
- What changed
Planners now see a late vessel before it upsets the schedule, and customers check their own cargo at any hour without calling.
